Peter Nguyen est un artiste qui est né et a grandi à Hawaii.

En 2006 il participe à la compétition de nouveaux talents organisée par Wilstorm. Il réalise son premier travail avec une courte histoire de Superman parue dans le Hallowen special 2009 de DC. La même année il obtient son diplôme du Cal State University Northridge et a l'honneur de participer, avec Boyd Kirkland et Steve Gordon, à la série d'animation « Wolverine and the X-Men » produite par Kickstart ent. Il en est l'assistant de production et le dessinateur en effets spéciaux.
Il a fini par travailler pour Marvel et DC sur des titres prestigieux comme « Secret Six », « Black Widow », « Catwoman » ou « Wolverine and Inhumans ».
